George Washington Moon was an English writer of the late nineteenth and early twentieth century. He published several poems, contributed to the Dictionary of National Biography, and wrote a number of books on the grammar of the English language. Several of these books were lengthy compilations of the purported grammatical errors of specific writers, which led to vigorous counterattacks and controversies.[1]
